Why Your Coaching Business Needs a Digital Front Door

If potential clients can't find you or don't know what you offer, they'll move on. Here's how to fix that in an afternoon.

Most coaches I talk to have a website that looks like a brochure from 2015. It lists credentials, maybe a photo, and a contact form. That's not a front door—it's a locked gate. A digital front door is a clear, automated entry point that answers three questions: What do you do? Who is it for? What happens next?

Start with a single landing page. Not a full site. One page that speaks to one specific problem you solve. Add a simple call-to-action: book a call, download a guide, or join a waitlist. Then connect that action to an automation—like a welcome email with next steps. You can build this in Notion, Carrd, or your course platform. The tool doesn't matter; the clarity does.

The result? You stop repeating yourself in DMs and start having conversations with people who already understand your value. That's the difference between hustling for clients and attracting them.
