Release note: onboarding kit v3 and what changed
The intake flow is shorter, the welcome sequence is modular, and the whole kit now runs on a single Notion page.
Version 3 of the onboarding kit is live in every library that owns it. The short version: fewer questions, fewer pages, and one place to manage a new client from signed agreement to first session.
The intake form used to ask fourteen questions. It now asks nine, and three of those are conditional. In testing with twelve coaches, completion rates went up and the answers got more useful, because people stopped skimming halfway through. The welcome sequence is now four separate modules you can drag in or leave out, so a three-session package does not get the same twelve-email runway as a six-month engagement.
Everything sits on a single Notion page with linked client records. If you were using the old Google Docs version, the migration guide is in the product folder and takes about twenty minutes. Both versions remain available; nothing was removed.
One thing I got wrong in v2: the kickoff checklist assumed you already had a scheduling tool connected. That step is now explicit, with a fallback for people who book manually. If you spot anything else that assumes too much, tell me and it goes in the next pass.
