Release note: Onboarding Kit 3.0 and what changed
A shorter intake, a conditional welcome sequence, and a client portal checklist that survives real-world delays.
Onboarding Kit 3.0 is live for everyone who owns a previous version. You'll find the new files in your original download link, so check your inbox for the update email.
The biggest change is the intake form. We cut it from 24 questions to 11, because coaches kept telling us clients stalled at the financials section. The new version asks for outcomes first, logistics second, and moves anything sensitive into the first session where it belongs.
The welcome sequence now branches. Clients who book within 48 hours get a short confirmation path; clients who go quiet get a gentle nudge on day three instead of a generic drip. We built this after watching three coaches lose signed clients to silence, not objections.
One thing we removed: the automated 'contract signed' celebration email. It read as hype to most clients in testing. What replaced it is a single line confirming the first session and what to bring.
If you installed the old portal checklist, swap in the new one. It adds a delay column, because real onboarding breaks when a client travels or a payment clears late. The checklist now assumes that will happen.
